Submissions & Subscriptions


Subscriptions

The journal is available for $65.00 per annum.  Alternatively, single issues of the current volume are available for $35.00.  Subscriptions are renewed automatically unless CJICL is notified to the contrary, prior to expiration.  Change of address notification should include both old and new addresses with postal codes.  All subscription inquiries should be addressed to the Business Editor.  CJICL is printed by Joe Christensen, Inc., Lincoln, Nebraska.  Complete sets as well as back issues and volumes of the journal are available from William S. Submissions

Lawyers, jurists, scholars, and candidates for advanced legal degrees are welcome and encouraged to submit articles to the CJICL at via e-mail at cardozojournal@gmail.com or via postal mail to Executive Editor – Submissions, CJICL, Cardozo School of Law, 55 Fifth Avenue, Suite 529, New York, NY 10003, USA.  Submissions should include a draft of the manuscript, a cover letter, and a curriculum vitae or resume.  If submitting by postal mail, authors should enclose two copies of the manuscript.  Manuscripts submitted via postal mail cannot be returned unless a stamped, self-addressed envelope is provided.  CJICL does not accept outside submissions by authors who are currently Juris Doctor candidates. 

CJICL will give preference to articles under 25,000 words in length, including text and footnotes.  No articles exceeding 35,000 words will be considered, except under special circumstances.  Citations and text should generally conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (18th ed. 2005) and The Chicago Manual of Style (14th ed. 1993).  Electronic copies of the manuscript should be in a common word processing format (Microsoft Word is preferred).  All submissions should be double-spaced.  The use of the male or female pronoun should be understood to refer to both genders.

CJICL aims to publish scholarly works on subjects of interest to both the American legal profession and the international legal community.  Publication of an article by CJICL does not indicate adoption of the views expressed by the journal, its editors, or its executive board.
