Lawyers, jurists, scholars, and candidates for advanced legal degrees are welcome and encouraged to submit Articles to the CJICL via e-mail to our Submissions Editor at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Submissions should include a draft of the manuscript, a cover letter, and a curriculum vitae or resume. The CJICL does not accept outside submissions by authors who are currently Juris Doctor candidates.
The CJICL will give preference to Articles under 25,000 words in length, including text and footnotes. No Articles exceeding 35,000 words will be considered, except under special circumstances. Citations and text should generally conform to The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation (19th ed. 2010) and The Chicago Manual of Style (16th ed. 2010). Electronic copies of the manuscript should be in Microsoft Word format. All submissions should be double-spaced. The use of the male or female pronoun should be understood to refer to both genders.
The CJICL aims to publish scholarly works on subjects of interest to both the American legal profession and the international legal community. Publication of an Article by the CJICL does not indicate adoption of the views expressed by the journal, its editors, or its executive board.
